Darren Byler was a postdoctoral researcher in the ChinaMade project at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He received his PhD from the Department of Anthropology at the University of Washington in 2018 and is currently Assistant Professor of International Studies at Simon Fraser University.

Ying-Hsiu Chou's research interests focus on interdisciplinary approaches to Chinese fiction, film, and popular culture, with emphasis on genre, gender, cross-media adaptation, and transcultural encounter.

Hope St. John is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Anthropology studying photographic practice in contemporary Qingdao.

Katherine Morrow earned a doctoral degree in Comparative Literature in 2019. She was a visiting lecturer at Wellesley College from 2019-2021.

Madeleine Yue Dong is a 2022-2023 Society of Scholars Fellow.

Ping Wang is Associate Professor of Classical Chinese Literature at the University of Washington, Seattle. Her research interests range from history of Chinese literature, early and medieval poetics, grammar and syntax of classical Chinese, and Sinological translation.
