This graduate research cluster explores how digital networks and platforms have transformed the way we interact with information, culture, and society. This encompasses concerns at both juridical and ideological levels, including copyright law, surveillance and privacy, cybersecurity, data management, algorithmic mediation, and content moderation. This GRC focuses on a range of topics such as digital economies, formation of community in digital spaces, and ethics of algorithms.
