This cluster explores humanistic approaches to AI and its impacts on historic and contemporary notions of human creativity as pertains to writing, artistic creation, reading and interpretation, translation, as well as research. For 2024-2025, we plan lunch workshops exploring the nature of and transparency around training data and forms and implications of AI/human interaction, including prompt engineering and models of service and assistance. In-person and virtual lectures are planned on evaluation and bench-marks, and other topics.
