COASSToryLines: Weaving Narratives of Public Science and Attachment to Place
Public engagement in science is profoundly influenced by attachment to place. Through deeper understanding of place attachment and in partnership with the Coastal Observation and Seabird Survey Team (COASST), this project develops a visual and auditory interactive composition to tell a non-linear story about how place attachment influences public science. As a longstanding pillar of ecological data curation, COASST offers a site for developing stories that break down academic barriers between humanities and the sciences.
