This graduate study group fosters a critical examination of performance as a site for conceptualizing contemporary cultural practices, modernity, citizenship, and democracy via discussions among graduate students, faculty, community performers, and visiting speakers.
This group carries out a successful dissertation writing group, showcases graduate student work on performance-related topics for a university public audience, and continues to develop future collaborative projects around performance.
