Faculty Summer Fellowships

Faculty Summer Fellowships image

Faculty Summer Fellowships offer targeted research support to UW tenure-track faculty. Each year, a cohort of fellows is selected through a special proposal review process under a shared project type or thematic. This program was initiated in 2021 as a response to the global pandemic and the particular challenges it created for early-career faculty. It has supported faculty for work on their first, second, and third scholarly books, and for emerging work under a theme.
