Imagining Trans Futures

Year of Funding:

This tri-campus trans studies research cluster will bring together cross-disciplinary scholars, artists, and leaders in conversation around imagining trans futures and the intersections between critical trans studies and trans knowledge production both inside and outside of the academy. We will develop a writing group for trans-identified scholars and host a series of public events open to the whole UW community that showcase key conversations and cultural work in the field of trans studies.

The next upcoming event will be Cameron Awkward-Rich on Thursday, February 4, 2021, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

The latest event was Francisco J. Galarte on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

The first event of AY 2020 - 2021 was Trish Salah, Monday, November 9, 2020, 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.
