Meeting Room Communications 218D

A room with a meeting table in the center surrounded by about 12 rolling office chairs. Light comes in a corner window just out of view and ceiling lights. There is a computer with wires for attaching devices in the center front of the room.

Capacity: 18 (12 chairs fit comfortably around the table, with an additional 6 around the perimeter.)

Primary uses: Classroom, meetings, roundtable discussions, small-scale working conferences

Scheduling availability: 9:00am-5:30pm, with extension to building close on a case-by-case basis.

Equipment available: Mid-size monitor, HDMI connection (bring your own laptop and adapter), whiteboard (available by advance request).

Special considerations: Limited food service space is available in this room. Only light refreshments, coffee, or bottled beverages may be served.

Accessibility: CMU has an accessible elevator for all floors. The Simpson Center suite does not have an automated door.  All rooms are on the same level (no steps).A men's restroom and women's restroom are next door to the seminar room.
