The Gender and Sexuality Graduate Research Cluster supports UW graduate students in a range of inquiry into gender and sexuality as social structures shaping institutions, interactions, and identities. It fosters critique, collaboration, and mutual support among members and forges connections with graduate students at other universities. The Research Cluster, founded in 2014, originates in the department of sociology and spans several departments; workshops of student work have resulted in numerous grants, fellowships, and publications.
