Dissent Images

The Dissent Images GRC group gathers cross-disciplinary thinkers to explore the power of “dissent images”: not merely images of and for dissent, (audio-)visual artifacts concerning dissidents, but also encounters of image-making and viewing as dissenting that challenge us to imagine something other. The collaborative journey informs our title in its double sense, developing scholarly approaches to images that make people dissent from one another and imaging our dissent voice as an activist imaginary.
