Terms of Award: Summer Support

The explicit intent of this support is to allow fellows to devote themselves fulltime to research during the summer. Fellows must devote a minimum of six weeks to focused work on their dissertation, with no competing demands of teaching or other paid work. Fellows will meet weekly with other members of the Summer Society of Scholars to discuss their work and move their projects forward. The fellowship carries an award of $7500, with no benefits or tuition.

Funding is dependent on resources being available. Applicants selected for this summer fellowship will be notified by January 1, 2023.
