Alison Fiorenza

FiorenzaAs Administrative Coordinator, Alison Fiorenza manages Simpson Center meeting spaces and provides support for technology issues. She is the first point of contact for reservations and Center inquiries, and she provides general clerical, fiscal, and operational support for Simpson Center staff. She also manages the Center's growing list of grant competitions, which include twice-yearly funding rounds, Society of Scholars fellowships, Digital Humanities Summer Fellowships, Reimagining the Humanities PhD and Reaching New Publics awards, and others.

Alison joined the Simpson Center as a student assistant in 2014. As a UW student, she spent two years on the staff of the literary journal Bricolage, learning that she enjoys creative, academic, and collaborative communities. After graduating with a BA in English and Communication, she returned to the Simpson Center to join the staff full-time.
